Peachtree nova 300 vs parasound halo. I'm tempted to go ahead and order itbut this will be the most I've ever spent on any audio gear outside of speakers, . The only reason I could see in buying the nova 300 would be if you REALLY A Peachtree Grand has come up for sale at my same target price and I am also intrigued by its also stellar reviews, original $4500 price tag, 440w into 8, and seems to do everything I need. Was just curious if anyone had any The Halo is one of those very few integrated amplifiers around that can be properly used with a 2. 1 speaker system, which I think more people would go for if they heard it done properly. Does anyone here had the chance to compare the 2 or just know better? The Parasound blew away the Peachtree, and I really wanted to like the Peachtree to save myself a Grover Cleveland. I don't have the possibility to listen to the Nova unfortunately and can't compare its sound to the Halo. The Parasound will be more neutral and powerful, not sure which would have more detail but Richard Schram told me the integrated has the same preamp as the P5 stand alone. The I'm currently running a Peachtree Nova300 and am quite happy with it, but I have the opportunity to swap out to a Parasound Halo integrated. It comes down to your taste really, the Parasound could be the better of the two but you may not enjoy it any more. I'll admit, the Peachtree is very appealing because of the simplicity.
